Early 2000s Rock Chicks Rate

Honestly insulted no one mentioned these queens:

True! Seriously, how could we forget them. I remember when I accidentally saw them play an acoustic set at the mall to promote this album. Good times.
Also, @slaybellz you should definitely listen to Miley's Breakout, Demi's Don't Forget and Here We Go Again, and Ashley's Guilty Pleasure. All great pop-rock albums, I don't care what anyone else says. Actually, Selena's Kiss & Tell is very pop-rock as well, so give that a listen too!

Also, now is a good time to mention that we are approaching the FINAL WEEK for eligibility to vote in part 2 of my Miley rate! Please come and join the chaos!
Yeah I skimmed all their albums and listened to the songs @DJHazey also suggested. Doesn't quite do it for me the way the early 2000s stuff does to be honest, but some of it's not half bad!

he/him
Definitely didn't forget Aly & AJ (I would never! dd), I was just referencing the artists mentioned in the writeup and I still stand by Guilty Pleasure being the best Rock concept album from a Disney artist. Aly & AJ's debut is more singer-songwriter acoustics though yes "Rush" itself fits the bill quite nicely. Insomniatic offers more electronic-based pop then rock but definitely still has its share of rock bangers as well.

I'm all the way through Michelle Branch, which took almost as long as the Avril songs to listen on repeat and comment for, should be able to breeze through the rest soon.

Songs We Could Have Rated #5

When compiling the Extras section of non American or Canadian artists I actually found a couple artists on my own that I thought of including. Two of which sing in other languages aside from English, which I thought could have been cool to include. But in the end I thought maybe if I had too many unfamiliar artists on the list it might turn potential voters away so I decided to just go with the artists people suggested.

Belén Arjona

Belén Arjona is a singer from Spain, who was dubbed the Spanish Avril Lavigne when she released her debut album, O te mueves o caducas, in 2003 from which this song is from.

Marjorie Estiano

Marjorie Estiano is a Brazilian actress and singer. This song and her 2005 self titled album both went #1 in Brazil.

Maria Mena

Maria Mena is a Norwegian singer. She released multiple albums between 2000-2005 which all went top 10 in Norway, and it looks like she continues to be very successful over there.

- Only 1 song has gotten multiple 11s so far
- There are only 6 different artists in the top 15
- But 9 different artists in the bottom 15
- Out of 54 songs, 17 songs have a 9+ average so far
