EastEnders

Really excellent acting from Zaraah Abrahams tonight. She's fantastic and has done such a fantastic job of adding some depth and further layers to the character of Chelsea.

That final scene with Whitney showing Chelsea having been completely manipulated by Gray was a complete knockout, I actually had to watch it over again because it was done so well and packed such an emotional punch.

Zaraah was absolutely phenomenal in this scene, and in the one where she was removing her makeup. Her and Shona work so well together. I really hope the show is able to hold onto her.

Also, not sure if anyone saw this! "Danniella Westbrook plans to sue BBC over EastEnders character replacement" https://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news...r.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=sharebar

She has no grounds to sue unless it was somehow stated in her contract that she has an exclusive right to play the character. How bizarre.

Really they should hire both of them and just use them in alternate weeks. Or episodes. Or scenes! It wouldn't make any less sense than what they've done with the character up to this point.

Exactly. It's not as if she has any kind of current contract - she was last on the show in 2016. The only way I can think she'd have any sort of case is if the person in charge at the time (was it still Treadwell-Collins) made some kind of verbal, or even written, agreement that she could come back again.

The sexual chemistry in that police van
I definitely was expecting a kiss!

So Stacey had opened a Sandwich Van... yet Keegan already sells sandwiches on the square?
Isn't Stacey's just breakfast rolls though?

Also, it was a little frustrating that the "promo" for the past week's episodes were saying that Tina's body was going to be found, only for the complete opposite to happen. I know they're slowly drip dripping things at the moment - such as the nurse who spoke to Chelsea, and Whitney going to the police - but I really want them to start wrapping things up now. I was hoping it would all be done by birthday week, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Gray isn’t dead is he? That would be a terrible way to deal with him. Much too quick and easy. Life-changing injuries perhaps? Or full recovery?

Hopefully Kheerat won’t be done for murder, manslaughter or attempted murder, assault etc. It’s Gray that needs to suffer, it’s been much too long coming.

w/c 7th March looks to be a pretty major week with the new schedule coming into force and some pretty significant Gray developments. Also the return of Simon Ashdown as a writer who has pretty much every brilliant episode of EastEnders you can think of:

Monday 7th March
The Carters struggle to cope in the wake of some devastating news. Bailey has one last shot at reuniting Karen and Mitch, and Vinny tries to prove himself to Suki.

Tuesday 8th March
The pieces of the puzzle fall into place for Shirley. Chelsea is willing to do anything to protect Jordan, and Rocky turns to Rainie for help.

Wednesday 9th March
The walls are starting to close in on Gray, forcing him to go to desperate lengths. Chelsea has to think on her feet, and Mitch is left sick to his stomach by recent developments.

Thursday 10th March
With the truth about his dark past finally coming to light and numerous people with their sights on revenge, Gray realises his options are quickly running out. How far will he go to escape justice, and will someone else take matters into their own hands?[/spoilers]
