EastEnders

From Digital Spy:

“Later in the exciting week, there's what's described as a "shocking return" that has big consequences, shortly before a "tragic disaster" hits Albert Square.”

I wonder who the “shocking return” could be? It can’t be Grant as we know about that and it’s hardly shocking if he’s coming back because of Phil’s condition.

He/They
Double post :

I'm sorry but find a better scene than Phil and Livi than we've gotten in maybe the past decade?
Having Steve coming into front and center for the 40th feels so right.

Grant is back before that date.

My money’s on Abi.
“I just bumped into Cindy and battered her”

I wonder if they are describing it from a story perspective and it’s referring to Bianca coming back and all hell breaking loose for Reiss?

I remember “Just Another Day”. I video’d it at the time so watched it several times. Quite a good early behind-the-scenes documentary.

Looking it up, looks like there were three series of it and EastEnders was the only one that was a TV series.

I need the show to introduce more iconic guest characters for the 40th. We've been spoiled with Brenda, then Mai Nguyen, then Amelia and now the woman reading Nish's will with the biggest smile on her face, despite seeing how much upset the whole thing was causing. Unbothered, like a true queen.
How is the show going to resolve the Denise/Ravi/Jack vote when they film weeks in advance? Surely they don't have two sets of Denise/Ravi and Denise/Jack scenes and they'll just throw out one or the other? Or they keep them off screen for several weeks so they have time to film new scenes? Really curious how they make it 'seamless'.
I wonder if they will do what they did for the Who Killed Lucy aftermath where they filmed some of the scenes on the morning of the day they were due to air. Dominic Treadwell-Collins said at the time that they learned from the mistakes of the Archie killer reveal (where they just didn't discuss the reveal for weeks), so I guess they will do the same this time round too to avoid that.

Also, Steve McFadden you will always be famous.
