Suki-Priya-Avani. Absolutely bursting with potential as a family unit. Would love for them to build on that. Also if they continue to mature somewhat/round off her personality, there is something really special there with Ivani, tonight especially you could see what the actress/character is capable off.

Brilliant episode tonight! The opening scenes were (rightfully so) such an uncomfortable watch.
Agreed that Aaliyah and Sophie were just brilliant. I really think this is going to be the year of Priya, but also looking forward to seeing where Avani goes from here.

Had Denise chose Ravi, this would have been even more despicable of Jack. His own daughter was advocating for Avani and so was the other friend, yet he wouldn’t listen- surely the drugs being found on the floor and not on her person didn’t justify a strip search? He’s despicable. I was rewatching the episode where Martin walks in on Stacey and Jack (mostly because I find it hilarious when Chelsea slaps her…) and Jack’s anger at having the truth revealed is just… ugh! You toxic prick!

One of the best parts I found of the Avani storyline this week was the unfortunate and uncomfortable moments that added to the pain of an already awful situation. The police officer dropping her pen and then not having one that had ink. Eve calling Suki and flirting with her on loud speaker. Mundane things that may in isolation seem accidental or funny add to the stress of a horrible situation. Add to that the blurred lines of the relationship between Avani and Priya. The way Priya went off to Jack’s and how it was filmed. Very layered, and Eastenders when it’s at its best.
The scene with Avani and Priya in the living room when the camera slightly shook (on purpose I assume) to show the tension was amazing, could really see both of their point of views. So much potentinal to build with them, such great characters. Rooting for the awkward tension for Ravi and Priya to continue, whether together or not!

She was only raised in London for a very short amount of time when she was a child , was American for a bit then lived in Australia for 20 years and comes back talking more east end than the characters who have lived there for all their lives.

She came back near the end of her last run with the American accent almost vanished... so she's always sturggled with diction.
