They should’ve gone the Black Eyes Peas route instead of having HUGEL, Topic & Arash - I Adore You (feat. Daecolm) (with Ellie Goulding and J Balvin):I think I need a mindmap to understand the credits on that cover.
Gig on top of a mountain in Austria on 30th November.
I don't think she copped any heat for Easy Lover dd. It went down fine although probably not the best lead single they could've gone with.I had a little dive back into her discography recently and she really did get unfair dismissal for the GP-catering tracks like 'Hate Me', 'Easy Lover', 'Close to Me' - they still absolutely slap. The fact she knows her way around crafting hits but also the songwriter deep cuts - TALENT.
It’s wonderful. Really sleek pop done well and with one of my favorite vocalists in modern pop.I don't think she copped any heat for Easy Lover dd. It went down fine although probably not the best lead single they could've gone with.
I still go back to Higher Than Heaven a lot. It's probably her most cohesive work since Halcyon. Title track is a dreeeeam.
Absolutely agree!I had a little dive back into her discography recently and she really did get unfair dismissal for the GP-catering tracks like 'Hate Me', 'Easy Lover', 'Close to Me' - they still absolutely slap. The fact she knows her way around crafting hits but also the songwriter deep cuts - TALENT.
If anything, the person that seemed to dislike it most was Ellie herself, not performing it at the album preview show or on the tour ddddI don't think she copped any heat for Easy Lover dd. It went down fine although probably not the best lead single they could've gone with.
I really like these. They really do seem to divide people.Hate Me and Worry About Me are still her two worst tracks. Crimes.
