  1. Sixteen is a bit shit but I'm still bopping. I'm more excited for what's on the album.

    The video is cute enough.

  2. Let's not do this, she looks great.

  3. OMG, she looks incredible.

  5. great video
    perfect complement to the song

  6. 7 million streams in 7 days - Sixteen is off to more or less the same start as Close to Me, which is a good omen.

  9. Sixteen, in all of it’s extreme basicness, has won me over.

  10. I thought this was impossible - but her new management team seems to be doing worse at promoting than the previous one??

  12. Sounds like this era's best song so far.

She seems so totally absent from all these latest songs she's getting out there.

  14. Sixteen songs until the album is announced.

  15. Unfun fact: Close to Me is half a year old today.

  17. I still really like Sixteen. It's certainly my favourite song of the era so far, although I do still like Close To Me.

But...none of these songs are anywhere near the greatness of her best stuff.

    What's happened?

  18. I can't believe how many pop girls I (used to) stan are just disintegrating every ounce of originality they have left in 2019.

  19. Close to Me's popularity and longevity (in the US at least) has really surprised me, and I say that as someone who has liked it from day one. My friends are always bopping to it.
