Yeah so after a few listens, this is catchy. The way it builds is excellent.
I'm surprised how much I like this? The vocal choice is quite aggressive in parts that it feels genuinely a bit challenging, not something I'd expect from her at all. The Afrobeats-tinged production softens it a bit and turns it into a bop. I dig it, I think?
The first listen is very rough, ouch. But let me play it two times more to see if it gets better as was said.
I wasn‘t keen on this after the first listen, but I really like it now.
The new song is very good, completely produced by her too. Crazy that she's gone from making TV advert tracks on the last album to something so fresh and exciting.
Really wasn't keen on my first listen of Family, the autotune was just too much, but I've just returned to it and it's grown on me massively. I've done a complete 180.
