Just a rumour at this stage but technically their invite to participate only covered them up to 2023. It'll need to be reviewed at the next reference meeting but I can't imagine the EBU wanting to thin the field further.

Ddddd sorry, this one is on me. I misread "Eurovision 2024 - Sweden" as referring to Sweden's entry for 2024 and not to the actual Eurovision contest in 2024. I really shouldn't have been up so late last night! Give me a moment and I'll figure out how to separate these out again.

I read it won‘t be Gothenburg cause they have some sport event? And Malmö was disappointed with the revenues from 2013.

Stockholm has been preparing their bid since Loreen‘s Melfest victory so it‘s looking good.

- Juries return to the semi finals
- Aside Luxembourg, also Montenegro, Bulgaria, North Macedonia, Monaco, Andorra, Slovakia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey return
- Australia stays home, BUT Kylie sings an ABBA medley of some sort
- No involvement of any of the male winners from the past 15 years - so no songwriting either Duncan!
- No Johnny Logan either
- 50 Years Since Waterloo celebrations do not overshadow Loreen's achievement of winning twice
- Lena PH to host
