Eurovision Song Contest 2020 - cancelled

Discussion in 'Eurovision' started by TheChoirgirlHotel, May 19, 2019.

  1. I'm yelling. Not the UK coming 25th this year!!
  2. When you want to get your revenge and write shit songs for UK and France, who is next?

  3. The vocals on the studio version are way too loud over the instrumental, but the song goes off live. So far my favourite entry this year.

  4. France should have just sent this again instead

  5. France getting desperate and having to resort to Swedish scraps...

  7. Is there anything in France except the Eiffel Tower it’s been a few years since I’ve visited
  8. France has sent some bops in the last 5 years, but decided to pull out an Eiffel Tower performance for this dirge of all things? I am confusion.

Not when they cancelled one of the more promising national selection formats of recent years for that.
  13. It‘s fun to know that France and Spain are def bottom 5 already.
  14. I guess France is using a song even UK: You Decide would have passed on. Its really gotten to that point.

  16. I agree with the France part. Blas' song is quite alright, I think he'll do ok. Of course, if Spain would fight for a place in the finals, then I'd be worried.
  17. I like the spanish song except for the weak chorus, I don‘t think it‘s a jury song and I doubt many people will vote for it too.

And they often do messy staging, I mean lord last year.
  18. Belgium is a bit unoriginal, and lacks... something.
Also, singing about love as a 'losing game' is too familiar....

  19. Could have done with a more instant, more memorable song but Release Me is my fave of the year so far.
