Can't Wait Another Minute finishes in the runner up spot . Another great single , it builds into a great chorus that is for sure. One of the bands finest.

That brings us to the Number 1. It wasn't even close in the end as 15 points advantage over the second placed Can't Wait Another Minute shows how popular this is.

The Slightest Touch (Shep Pettibone Remix) wins the rate with ease. For me without the remix it was pleasant enough but not chart material. The remix though takes it onto another level. Just superb.

It's one of those songs that, when you hear the first notes, you want to rush to the dancefloor and break out the Five Star choreography, not so much for nostalgia's sake, but because it's such a damn good dance song. There's an urgency in Denise's vocals and the music that set it apart from Five Star's other songs. The right result here and as my 12 I am thrilled as I never "win" these rates! The Slightest Touch on the album was already a brilliant song but the Shep Pettibone remix takes it into the stratosphere, genuinely one of the most euphoric pop songs of all time. The "come a little closer, no closer than that" spoken word part is amazing.

Thanks for a great rate @simes1970, I loved the fast pace and your writeups. Looking forward to Dollar already.

When the Top 3 was revealed I said there was one song I didn't want to win even though it's a 10. That song was 'Can't Wait Another Minute.' 'System Addict' would've been a worthy winner although I only gave it a 10.
But I'm ecstatic that my 12 'The Slightest Touch' is the winner. Listening to it whilst writing this singing along, and it's so hard not to get up and dance. It's so dynamic and thrilling.

So I was nearly right!

I still think Rain Or Shine underperformed here, but Can't Wait Another Minute was a worthy runner up.
