***Flawless: The Beyoncé Discography Rate Top 50 (COMPLETE)

YAS fantastic finish. Thank you to whoever started this rate and thank you @RJF for finishing it off in style. It was great to reflect back on a fantastic career, and this was probably the best point to do it at. The finale being between her first and last (in a sense) songs bore out as much. It’s also really gratifying that the forum is so on board with 4-onwards Beyoncé, which really charts the evolving tastes of the community.

Nope. Joanne, Come to Mawma or Hey Girl would be mine from Joanne but I feel they'd all be wasted picks in the rate.

I think DiC is getting the most praise from Joanne. Though I feel like Million Feebles could also take the top spot from that album.

People...think Dancin' In Circles is a Joanne...highlight?

I actually have no idea how my scores will look across the board as I love all these albums. Every album has a potential 11. I mean, I just gave Formation mine in this rate, do I stick to my guns...? If I'm Rating. Rate It Better, Thinkin' Of Rates, Diamond Rate, all calling me.

My puss isn't ready for the tears, the annihilation, the meltdowns, the buffoonery and the frippery that will occur in the Big Pop Girls 2016 rate. Going to get to work on my scores and commentary ASAP (sorry other rates I committed to including my own xox)

I can't see much from Joanne penetrating the Top 10 (perhaps 'Dancing in Circles', at a push), though I suspect its album average will reflect the general tone of praise across the board. It doesn't have that 'Into You'/'Kiss It Better'/'Formation' that the forum have collectively lost their shit over, even seeming to fall short of the 'Thinking Bout You'/'Sorry'/'Love on the Brain' (still fairly rabid and thoroughly deserved) following that feel slightly less unanimous (or at least less vocal) but equally adored.

We'll see, I guess.

More IMPORTANTLY....

Into You, Touch It, Formation, Dancin' in Circles, Kiss it Better, Freedom, Sorry, Side to Side, Hold Up, Greedy

Stay blessed y'all.

If Joanne had filler, Dancin' In Circles would be it. It's just inessential. Fills a "oh better put a lethargic-at-best bop here..." quota maybe. But it's like a throwback to past glories without recreating them or slotting nicely into the new niche the rest of the album carves itself. It's fine. The chorus is calling to pop off, but it doesn't. Lame.
