Forum Issues - General Discussion

I wish that those who request to have their accounts deleted had to give a specific reason. I cannot imagine being so disgruntled that I just ask for an account deletion without going down in a blaze of glory beforehand.
Just look at their posting history when they post here, it's usually the last 5 posts.

Everyone obviously can do whatever they want, but I really don't get when people, especially regular or semi-regular posters, delete their accounts over very minor altercations everyone would have forgotten about in a day or two if they were even aware of it in the first place, especially considering it's impossible to create a new one. I don't remember what it was exactly anymore but this last one went as far as changing their username to something generic like "abc123" before deleting, and over something totally inconsequential too.

Feature idea: It would be great if you had the ability to "mute" threads / hide them from your personal view. Maybe you can do this and I don't know about it?

1) They don't clog up the pages. I promise I will never care what Chris Brown is up to.
2) You can avoid threads for specific periods of time, like avoiding setlist spoilers.

You can ignore the poster and the thread won't be visible.

Hello!

Small one from me. Something I've noticed is that whenever I take a backspace when editing a sentence, if I'm typing on anything that isn't belonging to paragraph 1, the paragraph that I'm currently writing jumps upwards, closing the gap between it and the previous paragraph.

Not sure I've explained that particularly well, but if you get my gist, is this happening to anyone else? Perhaps something to look at with the upcoming scheduled maintenance - it's nothing too major, but it's quite irritating to have to go back through and put spacing between my paragraphs again should I ever make a mistake and need to backspace.

Thanks!
Hey, still having this issue if anyone else is? It's fairly irritating whilst writing longer posts.
