Also side note, this would be a great time to add compatibility to tiktok embeds and instagram reels/lives/igtv etc.

Peter has said this was just the first stage. A pre-release single to the main campaign if you will!

Yeah I'm seeing a few blank posts that have likes. I am assuming it's embeds of Twitter/Insta/Spotify.

Once the forum's updated I can install in a new version of the embed plugin which (hopefully) should allow the existing embeds to spring back to life. And if they don't I'll get it fixed.

Hello, I am going to be fiddling a lot today but not on stuff that requires the forum to be shut, so you will have the excitement of seeing me have a breakdown in real time.

In response to the two questions so far:

I reckon the pink should return although black is a bit less stressful on the eyes, what do you think?

And disabling embeds — @kal do you mean this is something you should be able to decide on a user basis, ie if you don't want to see a million embeds you just see the links?

I miss the pink, I won’t lie. The layout and format was easier to navigate too.

Yes, if the embeds plugin has an option to make it a user setting, that would be ideal for me.

That's definitely something I can look into, I have added it to the list! (I *think* the new embed thing I'm now using takes a more lightweight approach to embeds than the old one, let's see how that goes...)

Change is harder on the eyes/brain than pink I'd say. I also feel previously the mentions opened on mouse-over instead of having to click them but my mind might be making that up? (Also are the posts a bit wider now? It seems slightly less readable? (Like my eyes have to actively go from left to right where they didn't before?))

If it's possible I'd also still like a function to change (or just delete) my horribly dated signature.

Oh and also: any kind of divide/seperation/difference between post and signatures would be welcome, cause I've already had multiple cases of going 'huh?' at part of a reply, only to realize the smaller part wasn't part of the actual post.

As a Popjustice 17 theme user (the superior, old grey one), the new theme looks fine to me. If pink is returned how easy/possible is it to have multiple options?

I read someone else saying they are just 'less bold' but to my eyes they're very not bold too
