Was just going to post this. It’s SO good and I love the lyrics video:
Julia wishes tbh.
Aya is being tricked too:
The Iman Es album kinda slaps:
Fans of Hatchie, Fickle Friends, Muna, or Pale Waves, I present you Oakman:
Just heard this through a Spotify ad and since when does Yael Naim sound like Rae Morris / Kate Havnevik / Imogen Heap? Wig.
This came on shuffle this morning. The memories ...
I'm suddenly seeing ads for Marina Kaye's return:
This is the best thing I've heard from her? The chord progression is really unusual.
edit: I didn't know she had already released a new single a few months earlier
Did she drop the wannabe Sia act?
Ooh seems like she kinda did. This really is the best thing I've heard from her.
DD No but it sounds better than some of her overplayed past hits at least.
The second song does sound different so far though.
I don't mind Marina actually but her brand is very "songs suited for soundtracks" ddd.
Marina Kaye seems like a nice girl but she’s very reminiscent of the time French labels were pushing English speaking songs hard.
Remember that girl they brough from the UK called Alex Hepburn that had a hit called Under only in France?
Glad that Marina is at least trying to make something new.
I found an old Surperbus CD when I was cleaning my room last week and I’m kinda obsessed all over again. They always delivered smashas.
I looove their last single Silencio.
Here to give some love to this super underrated classic!
I love their featuring with Roméo Elvis.
I’ve just discovered it recently and I’m obsessed.
Also this is utterly faceless and quite terrible in a Flo Rida kind of way but catchy as hell:
Oop pre-lockdown, my coworker would play that Gradur song every single day on our commute to work. It feels like it has happened years ago at this point.
Considering the bizarre but unsurprising backlash she's currently getting for calling out police brutality, I'm checking out Camélia Jordana's music.
I remember this bop from her Nouvelle Star days. Hard to believe it turns 10 this year:
Copying this blatantly from the thread I just created for Lola in the "Potential Next Big Things" subforum!
