Hello.
If you would like to contribute to the General Girls Aloud discussion thread, here are some rules you should follow.
HELPING THE GENERAL GIRLS ALOUD DISCUSSION THREAD RUN SMOOTHLY
Please write in fully formed sentences. This means capitalising the first letter of a sentence and the names of artists and song titles, putting a full stop at the end of a sentence, and so on.
Don't use textspeak. This means things like U, UR, LMAO, LOL, wot and so on. You are not looking at a mobile phone or an instant messenger window.
We've disabled the smilies on the General Girls Aloud discussion thread. This is for a reason, so posts containing comments like "Insert sad smiley here" will be deleted.
Abbreviations (like GA for Girls Aloud, or IWS for 'I'm With Stupid') can be confusing so please write Girls Aloud and song titles in full.
If you have registered to talk about Girls Aloud only, or if you're street-teaming or spamming, use the Links, Spam & Street Team Cuntery forum, or don't post at all.
If there's an active thread about Girls Aloud (such as this one), try not to start a new one unless your contribution informs us of a huge and explosive new development.
There's no real point to posts of the 'I agree!' / 'So true!' / 'I can't wait!' variety. Only post things if you have something to add!
Don't censor your swear words.
Don't - this is terrible to have to ask - use words like 'bitch', 'slag', and 'slut' to describe a lady.
THINGS YOU CAN'T DO BECAUSE OF THE LAW
Do not speculate on Nadine or any of the other girls' sexuality.
Don't post links to illegal music downloads.
Don't request links to illegal music downloads.
Don't post midweek chart information - it's the copyright of the people who compile the charts.
Do not post images from photo agencies.
WHAT TO DO IF YOUR POST IS DELETED
If you've broken one of the above rules, your post will be deleted.
If you really don't understand what the problem is, send a private message to a moderator, who may be able to help. Please bear in mind that a different moderator may have deleted your post - so make sure you explain what was in your original post.
And that is that.
It looks horrible and restrictive and completely ridiculous when it's written down like that, but it also makes for a really good General Girls Aloud discussion thread.
If you think it's all a bit unfair, there are plenty of other forums you can register for.
