It’s ashame they ended their journey that night. I think they must regret it in some ways. Years ago there tended to be such a definitive yes/no split for bands whereas now there’s bands still together but not always touring or releasing new music continuously (Atomic Kitten, Little Mix, B*Witched, Take That, Blue etc). If that 10 years ago was now they’d probably do the odd gig, Pride event and odd thing for the fans & for themselves.
I randomly remembered about TEN’s CD2 tonight, with the 10 selected “fan favorites” and I have to say that selection is pretty great! It was dowm to an online poll right?
Crazy Fool being included in that always felt like a nice surprise - one of their best b-sides and the first Cheryl solo track! These stone cold vocals fit the song perfectly.

Still sad “Long Hot Summer” didn’t make it but was kinda tickled that, despite all the chat over it between various forums, “Singapore” did not make it (though I would’ve taken it over the album mix of “Whole Lotta History”).
Wow I'm imagining this as a thing that actually happened in an alternate reality - glorious. Girls Aloud just announcing a random pride headliner... the stuff of dreams.
The wasted potential is so real. But the heights of seeing them rule the UK during Tangled Up/Out of Control - we will always have those memories.
Wasn't it originally almost 3 hours long so a lot was cut during rehearsal?
I find it interesting that that random mashup of "Fling", "Girl Overboard" and "Graffiti My Soul" leaked and then Nicola said she never heard it - where did it come from?! Maybe in the initial plans and cut before it even got to the girls?
"Call Me Maybe" was such a dud - I remember even at the show it felt like it cut the momentum of the show. Their use of "Models" as an interlude was inspired and feel they could have done that with a few other tracks - like maybe "Swinging London Town" before "Sexy!" or "Every Now And Then" before "Something Kinda Ooooh".
I also loved the idea of the chronological singles but they let go of that so quickly with "Wake Me Up". Overall, the ideas were there but the overall execution wasn't the best - they should have gotten a fresh music director to bring in some new ideas and band arrangements.
Yes it was included in the GA15 leak. Think it was originally played on a WeLovePop podcast or something by fascination if my memory is right.

Your memory is correct. We first heard it as part of WeLovePop's Spice Girls vs. Girls Aloud podcast from 2014. The isolated mashup then leaked with the GA15 leaks.
My only main problems with TEN tour, was the rehash of some of the production (the flying to the stage for Sexy! Etc) and Call Me Maybe should almost certainly been replaced by Graffiti My Soul or Girl Overboard!

I loved the Ten Tour. There was so much excitement and the audience loved them. I could sense though that this was it. I mean, I flew from Canada to see them because I felt this was my last chance to see them (and my instincts were correct).
But the last section lost momentum with Call Me Maybe and Beautiful back-to-back. I don't dislike Beautiful but it didn't really work live.

Prior to Beautiful it had been banger after banger and Jesus, what a hideous drop in quality that absolutely killed the atmosphere.
