Girls Aloud

He/Him
On The Metro higher than Can't Speak French is surprising. Well, I guess On The Metro was released when Spotify was already around while CSF was released several years prior. But still. Lol
There’s only 80,000 streams between those two. 9 to 12 are all pretty close actually, with Not Tonight Santa getting startlingly close to being a top 10 streamed track of theirs.

9. On The Metro - 11,085,144
10. Can’t Speak French - 11,004,851
11. I’ll Stand By You - 10,866,201
12. Not Tonight Santa - 9,750,401

16 years ago today. There are so many great pictures of them outside before the show began but this is one of my favourite pictures of them ever.

I will forever be grateful to have been there in the flesh to have seen this. I've told this story countless times and every time an anniversary comes up I will tell it again:

As soon as they finished their performance of The Promise they all jumped up and down, hugged as a group, and left the stage holding hands.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful moment. They looked stunning and it was a moment in time.

God, I look at this picture and get the feeling that their celebration was also mine...

I hope they haven’t canceled the reissues. I feel guily not having bought the first two, but definitely will buy physicals for the rest.

That's very unlikely. They are aware of their legacy and their target market.
Releasing all the reissues at once wouldn't make sense from a selling/streaming point of view. I'd rather they continue to release them once a year. My guess is that the Chemistry reissue is coming around November.

12 years today since the girls were last in public as a five, final night of the Ten Tour.

I still can't believe still picture is real... Nadine was informed moments before they went on stage that the others decided to disband, there's picture of her leaving (I guess the arena) in tears and moments later we would have the infamous tweetlong and her reply ("I don't have any business in this"). Still we have this all smiles picture...

Nadine left in tears? I don’t think I have ever seen those pictures

The 5 seconds that it took to take this picture were probably the last 5 seconds that they had to endure each other, so they all smiled and gently disbanded afterwards.
