  1. Wonderful rate @Number! Thanks so much!

I fully expected Motorway to be top 5, but not number 1. I'm not distraught by its victory but I do think I may have over scored it with a 9...

  2. Agree with all the comments here, really enjoyed this rate, thanks @Number for the effort you put in. Also loved the inputs from all contributors, those I agreed with and also those I didn't (because they made me listen again ....)

As for the Top 5 predicted - I would have put Motorway, Stuck on Repeat, Remedy (so far so good), Shake and No Pressure (not such good predictions)

In fact, I'm still shocked at the lack of Shake in the Top 5, I thought it might top the whole rate.

  3. Thanks for doing this @Number, you did a magnificent job. I've been too ill the last few days to really get into the final few eliminations, but Motorway is a surprising winner. But in a refreshing way.

  5. And the spreadsheet for the curious! There's three tabs. Ordered Scores, with the rundown from first to last, Complete Scores, with album averages and overall averages, and Top 10, tracking the journey of our final 10 top as the scores rolled in. If you have any questions, ask away!

Again, thanks for all the wonderful comments. It's been a blast! Looking back, yup, definitely expected Shake to go much further than it did. Some of the tracks that made the top 20 made it further than I expected - songs like Catch 22, All For You and Paradise were welcome surprises in the upper ranks.

  6. So what lessons have I learned from @Number's magnificent work?
    1. That I have severely underrated Not Now for about 6 years. Comments on here put me on the right lines
    2. That I am not alone in still not getting Taste It
    3. That there is SEVEN MINUTE version of Stuck on Repeat! Where is it? Now NEED but can't find on itunes?

  8. A very underwhelming winner (would not have been in my Top 10) but a wonderful rate! Thanks for hosting @Number, you were great.

  11. I have now played this A LOT and it is definitely Domino Dancing. Thank you!!!

Now about that mashup that is therefore begging to be made..

  12. 'New In Town' video just makes me think '28 Days Later' on a budget.. Victoria still looks lovely, but that aside, hmmmmm

  13. A fantastic rate with an amazingly unexpected winner! Nicely paced, and all the write-ups were great & always insightful - basically, well done @Number, looking forward to Charli now!

As far as what I predicted for the top five, I was expecting something like:

    1. Remedy
    2. New In Town
    3. Help Too
    4./5. Shake/Earthquake/Motorway

I would've had Stuck On Repeat out in the mid-20s somewhere... oops.

  15. Finally listened to 'Better', the one off track on the Electronic Beats 12" - it is very good, a real waste tucked away on an album no one will really hear...

Now how to rip the vinyl to my Mac!

    Is this online?

  17. No, I bought the records - couldn't find it anywhere online. Plus searching 'better' and Little Boots just results with 'Better in the Morning'
