Gospel/Christian Music

I met through a friend of mine
We laughed until we almost cried
It was like a dream, a fairy tale
Said things to me I heard from no one else
We chilled together every day
We shared almost in every way
There is one thing that is left to do...
And this is why I'm calling you

Anyway, yesterday PinkNews did a piece of "the 11 most influential lesbians for Lesbian Visibility Day" and it was news to me that it was Lesbian Visibility Day, but also news to me was that Vicky Beeching's a lesbian. I'd gotten out of Christian music before she came out, so I had no idea. I was never a stan, but I liked her. I mentioned it to a friend, who replied, "The gays were watching over you before you ever knew," and I liked that phrase a lot, so I've decided she and Jennifer Knapp were my guardian gayngels.

Has anyone ever heard of Plumb? The songs "In My Arms" and "I Want You Here" give me chills.
Plumb top ten:
  1. Worlds Collide
  2. Lie Low
  3. Blush
  4. Real
  5. Boys Don't Cry
  6. Here with Me
  7. Real Life Fairytale
  8. Stranded
  9. Damaged
  10. Beautiful History
I'm a fan of the candycoatedwaterdrops album, as you can see...

Oohh I loved that album as well! I grew up in a Christian home (my dad is a pastor), so all I was basically allowed to listen to at the time was Christian music.

I discovered them when Jennifer Paige covered both Here With Me and Stranded for her second album.

Also, didn't In My Arms become a hit on the US dance chart?

Just based off iTunes clips alone, this sounds like it could be a really good album;

I checked out this week's "New Music Friday" spotify list - and Hillsong get the final spot!

Either a "God Bless!" to the PJ team or they're being shady about Hillsong. Don't care, it's a good song.

The final spot is always something Peter hates, so he's definitely being shady.
