Gym/running iPod playlists?

Discussion in 'Off Topic' started by ADolla, Mar 6, 2009.

  1. I was sitting in the changing rooms at my gym today scrolling through my iPod and decided to finally make an 'on-the-go' playlist so I wouldn't have to keep changing the song while on the cross trainer/whatever. Do any PJers have gym playlists, and if so, what's on them?

    I had;
    Sexy, No No No - Girls Aloud
    So What - P!nk
    Get Me Bodied - Beyonce
    Upgrade U -Beyonce
    Single Ladies - Beyonce
    Get Ur Freak On - Missy Elliott
    Elevator - PCD
    Poker Face - GaGa
    I Like It Rough - GaGa
    The Beast Within/Vogue/Nobody Knows Me (Re Invention Tour) - Madonna

    but I'd like to add more.
  2. This is a problem I have! I only started going to the gym in the last month or two and I always find I'll have a good run of 2 or 3 songs interrupted by something which is just awful to do exercise to!

    I realise I'm being rubbish at contributing a list here, but you've just reminded me that I may re-acquire a BPM analyser and try and build a smart playlist off of them. Unfortunately I think the reason I dumped this last time was because the analysis wasn't always 100% accurate!
