HAIM - "Everybody’s trying to figure me out" + 4th Album

Este is in a movie! "Shell", it's a dark comedy/horror directed by Max Minghella and starring Elisabeth Moss, Kate Hudson and Kaia Gerber. It premiered at TIFF last night and doesn't have an official release date

I was actually pretty shook to realize recently that the gap between WIMPIII and H4IM is already bigger than Days Are Gone/Something To Tell You because… it doesn’t feel like so? The album is still pretty much fresh when I play it. A real classic.

But I’m curious about where they’re heading now.

I can’t remember where I saw it but I swear I saw Rostam confirming that he was working on this?

EDIT: He was asked a few months ago about his favourite Haim track he’s produced and he said “You’re gonna have to wait til next year for that”

I hope they have a Brat-type breakthrough. I'm not expecting them to grasp the zeitgeist with the same intensity as Charli, but I hope all of the goodwill and exposure they've been building up leads to a new peak in popularity or at least a fucking Grammy.

I have been perched since I saw them at Shepherds Bush, headline APE and finally met them at Rough Trade in 2023.

Salivating at the thought of Jai Paul and Rostam produced bops.
