HAIM - I quit

This is such a shimmering sunny number. A wonderful Springtime groove relatably pondering the value of relationships while simultaneously being too exhausted to do anything about them. This really is the trio at their very best and feels entirely worth the half-decade wait. I'm also stoked Rostam is on board as an EP to lean them into some new directions.

It's basically summer already where I am so this arrived just in time. Obsessed with the switch-up hitting right at the moment when I feel like I'm about to slip into a haze.

I feel like the writer included the detail about Freedom '90 because the sample hadn't been cleared yet and saying they want it makes it more likely to be approved.

Their Solar Power is coming.

He/Him
In the best way possible, you can tell this is a track that's been knocking around for seven years. It's got elements of Something To Hell You and WIMPIII in it, but also pushes their sound forward a bit, like they came back and reworked it after shoving it in a drawer for a while. I think they're one of the best groups to never stay too stagnant in a sound without completely abandoning what they're good at.
