Their live performances this era were great. I wish their full performance of “The Steps” from The Grammys was on YouTube in its full length, I was obsessed with it.

“I Know Alone” was the one for me at the time but I somehow tend to forget how much I absolutely love “Gasoline”*. Who knew “Soak Up The Sun” played at half speed and bitter would be such a recipe for success.

*Not the version with the voice note recorded on a rusty tin can dropped awkwardly into the middle

"Los Angeles" as the opener feels especially poignant now. It's always made me emotional in the same way Rilo Kiley's "Let Me Back In" does, but now both move me to tears.
