Oh, this is brilliant.
Kinda hearing shades of late 80s Hip-Hop (by way of De La Soul, A Tribe Called Quest) filtered through that languid, sunkissed sound they mastered on ‘Summer Girl’.
The whole thing just innocuously breezing through its various parts as one charming whole, but ultimately all being anchored by that main hook repetition, feels like the kind of move that would trip up lesser acts but actually feels kind of masterfully done here.
