I'm not enjoying the fact that poetry is the new make-up lines for the girls who are slightly alt sometimes.
It was my favorite album going into my last semester at university, soundtracking many a late night study session. That seems, honestly, like DECADES ago. I still can't really fathom it.
It's become one of my favorites on the album. I've got a long way to go until self-preservation Think my moral compass is on a vacation And I can't believe I still feed my fucking temptations And I'm still looking for my salvation I've played it a lot this year and it's been really comforting to me. It's definitely up there for me personally as one of my favorites of her's.
Scream. Hoping to see Manic in Pop Vocal Album and You Should Be Sad in Pop Solo Performance, but not holding my breath.
I still can't believe that Halsey's only Grammy nomination is for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Closer."
She really deserved to be nominated for Manic. I don't think either of her previous albums deserve it, but Manic is such a step up in every way and has been one of the most successful albums released this year (still can't wrap my mind around the fact that it came out in 2020) not to mention that it's just a great body of work. I thought she'd get nominated for at least something, so it's disappointing that she's being completely left out. She's really proven to be a great artist, she's grown so much and I know she'll continue to do so with or without recognition. She's in good company with a lot of other great artists that have been snubbed, at least.
