Hannah Diamond - Poster Girl (EP) + General Discussion

This song is hitting my heart pretty hard. The more the chorus strikes through my brain and the verses pound alongside it, it's sending these quivering waves to my core. I don't know why it is but it is.

"I don't want to be alone in my bedroom;
Writing messages, you won't read;
I don't want to be alone in my bedroom;
On the Internet, waiting to say;
...Hi"

I think Hi might be my favorite Hannah song thus far, which is super hard to determine because Attachment and Every Night are amaze but this hits me emotionally which I didn't expect from her nor any other PC Music artists. Hit me in the icy heart, Kween Hannah.

he/him
I've found her endearing since 'Attachment', but 'Hi' is the first thing that's really stuck for me. It pairs nicely with Sophie's 'Just Like We Never Said Goodbye' - both have a strong sense of melancholy in the lyrics and melodies, which are miles ahead of anything they've done in the past, but with the hyperactive, over-the-top production I've come to love.

This is her best song, I can't wait to hear the album, at the beginning she did not convince me as GFOTY but now my feelings are reversed, GFOTY has Bobby which is PC Music at its best (and the ''In the bathroom suck a dick, thanks for coming that was quick'' from Friday Night is everything, Nadia Oh would be proud), but her persona and music is too random, Hannah is more lowkey compared to the other PC Music acts, but I can see her being bigger and bigger, and Hi is perfect PC Music and the fact that she seems a really nice girl helps a lot, at least for me!

I've come to the conclusion that "Hi" is my favourite PC Music song so far. (It was "Close Your Eyes" by A. G. Cook before.) The accompanying music video must be one of the very best of the year as well. I really can't wait for the imminent PC Music takeover!

To be honest I've just heard Hi, which made me visit Attachment after only hearing Every Night and not quite liking it.

Love both of these songs.

I like that Hi is kind of an extension or a part two to Attachment. The story of Attachment reminds me of having him in her mind but not in actuality. She's conjured this up in her mind and then Hi comes along and tells the story of the love after it's over. As if he realized how crazy she truly was, that's where the chorus comes in. Or it could be the just before the love, and he doesn't even know about her yet.

They're so sickeningly sweet with a slight touch of creepiness that it's hard not to fall in love with them.

@BEST FICTION how do you not bop to Every Night?!

I just had a moment to 'Hi'. I honestly love it even if gives me that lonely feeling.

'Attachment' is just amazing, though.

Also, her snapchat hasn't been active for a long time.

I hovered over this thread thinking it had over 1000 pages and then I realized it was the Madonna thread. My computer is being trippy.

I was browsing through this thread and

If this Hannah Diamond wants to be the new Nadia Oh then she needs to at least release a commercial bomb of an album.
