Ta. My fucking heaaad. 1997 was great, simply because i went to Jungle Kids for my birthday, a heeeeuge playpen area for children that are easily amused and suggestable, and i got to have birthday cake, bring a ton of friends and family from school, hire a coach, hug a lion, AND recieve 101 Dalmatians as a birthday present! And the video tape (as they existed back in the day, alas) was white with black spots! Then of course, this was also the very same weekend that Princess Diana died (in fact i remember what i was doing 3 hours before she was killed) so that made that particular birthday all the more memorable. Plus it was on a Saturday too, like last night.
