Despite her crush on Nick and toxic relationship with Ben in seasons past, “Imogen has her own sort of queer journey to go on” in Season 3, series creator Alice Oseman tells TVLine. “At the end of Season 2, we saw that she and Sahar had this little Heartstopper moment. It wasn’t quite clear what that was, but a lot of fans interpreted that as some kind of romantic spark.” Was it? Natch, Oseman won’t come out and say. But she does allow that in Season 3 (which drops Oct. 3), “we’ll follow up on that and see whether it progresses and what it means for Imogen. That’s going to be a really fun part of the season.”
