Hey pretty girls and top madams of KPJ, it's time to honour Korea's most daring group : AOA. Introduced with a 'transformer' concept, meaning they would appear alternatively as a band and a dance group, AOA debuted in 2012 with eight members : seven angels (ChoA, Jimin, Yuna, Chanmi, Hyejeong, Seolhyun, Mina) and one half-angel (Youkyung) (poor it.) Two years after their debut, the group released Miniskirt, the first of many Brave Brothers' produced tracks and their first big hit, selling more than one million copies. Fully embracing their dance group side and with Youkyung back in the FNC dungeon, the girls went on to score many hits over the years, while navigating between dating and Korean History scandals. Now a six-member group after ChoA's departure, AOA came back last summer with Bingle Bangle, peaking at #4 on Gaon's Digital Chart, proving that you don't need a main vocal to succeed. 1.
