I agree that Under My Skin is her finest hour overall, but will likely hand out more 10s myself in all the other albums somehow. The Best Damn Thing is definitely the most up-and-down album and Goodbye Lullaby is very understated (but beautiful) at times.

I appreciate you doing it the hard way. I personally will have no problem listening to everything on the computer and adding a bunch more scrobbles to her #1 ranking at my Last.FM.

I was at a used place tonight and bought the albums of hers that I was missing (the middle three, basically). It wasn't until I had left and they had closed that I realized I had accidentally bought the edited version of The Best Damn Thing. Like, what's the point in bothering with Girlfriend if she's singing "I'm the one and only princess."

Fucking Walmart.

I was so close to giving a 10 to 'One Of Those Girls', because I love it. But the crappy mixing of the track does not deserve it, so it got a 7.

The album can be an absolute mess at times but I still find myself loving it. I Don't Have To Try is a great example of this. Whenever I think about the song on paper I cringe, but when I play the song it gives a damn good argument for a 10.

And yes the Walmart version of any album has never been purchased by me in my life.

My problem with The Best Damn Thing is that the choruses are all so stellar but they're wrapped in huge shit sandwiches of verses which make you not even want to listen to them.

I think Hot will be polarizing but I get my life from it to this day. I love how it has the perfect blend of playful attitude and sweet honesty.

The Best Damn Thing is largely awful. It'll be getting seriously low scores throughout from me. I have a soft spot for 'Contagious' though.

I would love to do this as I stanned hard for Avril the first 3 albums but I've never even listened to the latest 2 except the singles so it wouldn't be fair to rare them alongside classics that I grew up with. My faves are
