  1. "My best friend is dead"

"I can't believe you are making this about you!

    ”I actually have body dysmorphia”

    I cackled
  3. Yeah, I had a blast with Bodies x3. It won’t go down as a modern classic or anything, but it was unsettling throughout while remaining funny and bleak. I thought the ending was a great twist.

  5. So, of the last couple of years what would be a top 5 horrors?
  6. Uno

Hereditary, The Invisible Man, Get Out, Ready or Not, A Quiet Place would probably be the Top 5 if we're being objective.

I would personally throw Fear Street: 1978, Haunt, Malignant, Halloween (2018) and The Strangers: Prey At Night into the ring as well but I know reception on those is more mixed.

  15. So The Strangers sequel was actually good? I have so much catching up to do.
  16. It’s a different type of movie in my opinion, but it’s mostly satisfactory.

  17. Objectively:

    1. Get Out
    2. Hereditary
    3. Climax
    4. A Quiet Place
    5. It: Chapter One

Honorable mentions: Us and Midsommar. I think they're as strong as their predecessors, but both seem to be more polarizing.

  18. The pool scene is better then anything in the original. A cultural reset.
  19. Hereditary
    It Follows

are my picks. I don't exactly remember what i watched as horror but these 5 stood out to most. Honorable mentions go to VVİtch, Midsommar, Caveat, Raw and St. Maud.

  20. I'd probably vote for:
    Ready or Not
    Get Out
    Happy Death Day or Freaky
    Scream 5
and more of a thriller technically, but The Call from south korea was fun too
