Horror films.

Why, at the end of Urban Legend, when they skip forward to those future students do they have everyone wearing what looks like clothes from the 60’s? I imagine they tried to style them different to make it look like it was in the future but boy they did a really bad job!!

The grouping of people has stood out to me ever since I was a child watching it on TV. Like did they intentionally pick the most bizarre looking combination of looks / actors? And for what?

Because it’s camp.

This is the answer to all questions where UL is concerned:

"How could that skinny girl hoist a man up that tree?"
"Because it's camp!"

"How did the killer know Natalie would be outside the old dorm at that specific moment and that nobody else would be wandering around and hear screaming?"
"Because it's camp!"

And most crucially:
"Why do you like that movie?"
"Because it's camp!"

Got around to watching M3gan and I thought it was good but not great. It all just felt a little too Chucky for the 2020’s and I’m just not completely convinced that was something I needed to see. Still the scene where she’s running like a dog on all four’s was a scream.
