Horror films.

I'm thinking about revisiting all the Evil Dead movies in anticipation of Rise, I'm so excited that I want to immerse myself in that world.

I love the first movie but didn’t quite remembered that most of the iconic moments of the franchise are actually on the second one, like Ash putting the chainsaw on his arm.

It got me thinking what are you guys opinion on this 2 movies? Considering the second one is practically a remake, which one do you prefer?

I think my rate would be:

1. Evil Dead
2. Evil Dead 2
3. Evil Dead 2013
4. Ash vs Evil Dead
5. Army of Darkness

I actually love the 2013 remake and would put it in second place, but I respect the original 2 too much to do that. Army of Darkness can rot to be honest.

He/They
At the moment I'm
1. The Evil Dead
2. Evil Dead 2013
3. Evil Dead 2
4. Army Of Darkness

The original shot into first place on my last rewatch, and 2 plummeted

I watched Horror in the High Desert. It was worth it for those final 10 minutes or so. I was genuinely shook by one scare in particular and my jaded ass never has that happen anymore.

Gonna watch the sequel tonight. Pray for me.

I didn't hate Knock at the Cabin. But I felt completely underwhelmed at the ending. It just felt undercooked.

We watched Cocaine Bear the other night too and I'm disappointed to say that I thought it was a load of shit. I wanted to love it and I did giggle a couple of times, but it didn't live up to what I thought I was about to get (I realise that's very much a me problem).

That's going on my list then, I want to be shook by something. I guess Resurrection did fairly recently but my life is dumb as hell so let's do it again please! Plus, as someone who lives in a high desert, the title sings to my heart.

EDIT: Oh my god I'm 10 minutes in, and this is amazing. Surprisingly good acting for Tubi. And it's legit based like 2 hours from me so that's cool. My people!

EDIT 2: I YELPED when Beverly
"""accidentally""" deleted the video.
Her face of shame. Camp!

I HATE THE COMMERCIALS.
