Re-watching Halloween Kills for some reason. The script/dialogue is just so damn cringe.
I did that one over the weekend. Some reeeally bizarre choices. I wonder if that actors tasked with yelling "Evil dies tonight!" voiced their concerns over its undeniable shitness?

On to Ends now and I can only do about 20-30 minutes at a time because it's so upsettingly shite.

2 this week and the last one on Halloween, so not too long a wait. I finally caught up with Game Of Thrones when the penultimate series was out and then had to wait a whole year for...that.
Ok I’ll start watching it when the double episode drops so I only have to wait a week for the finale.

Finally watched Longlegs. It was decent!

I didn't like the way it ended, or the supernatural aspect of it at all teebs. I don't think they needed it, the concept of an elusive serial killer (especially as creepy as this one, they did a really good job with the costume/prosthetics and Nicolas Cage was great) could have been enough. But it was a fun watch!

Decided to give Terrifier 2 a go last night. While it was a clear improvement from the first instalment in every single way, I still didn’t like it much. Mainly I struggled with how static everything looked on screen, which made the long runtime a slog. There was also little plot to keep momentum going, so everything felt very forced & disjointed. Not so much a proper story, just a series of random events.

I will give them props for managing to at least inject some fun into this one, rather than the joyless event of the first. And I found it to be creepier than the first too, the scene where Art breaks into the woman’s house and she finds him washing dishes in her kitchen was unsettling. But yeah, overall I’m not sure what people are getting out of these movies beyond the fantastic clown design.

Finally watched through all of the Elm St movies. New Nightmare has a few good things going for it, namely that hospital scene, but everything after 3 was a bit of a chore to get through.
