This was in every video rental store in the 80s and 90s but I never saw it till today. A struggle, tbh, as it's been done a gazillion times now, but the dopey lead guy was cute and there were some fun ideas.

There's even an sequel to it in the pipeline, which will be directed by Nia DaCosta. I'm unsure whether it has already been shot, as Variety just said it was shot back to back against the new one but yeah, a new trilogy is meant to be coming!

Amazing news - there is no way that Ms DaCosta would ignore Naomie (she’s probably in this one anyway and not been announced!)

The Advent Calendar (2021) is way better than you would expect. I am a sucker for a decent "haunted object" movie, though. Hence why I enjoyed Oddity so much.

Both feel like Tapes From The Crypt episodes, in a good way.

Has J-Love been doing tv most of this time? I genuinely can't remember seeing her anything past Garfield or The Tuxedo (my s.o. is a Jackie Chan stan).

I'm happy that Jennifer is pushing for Julie to have significance in the movie and its story, no gratuitous legacy characters just because, please!

Miss Podcast Host WRONGLY saying that How Do I Deal was part of the original movie... that is Brandy shade. Which... is Jennifer hinting that she might be back after all?
