My Top 5 for 2024.
There are some 2024 horror films that I haven't seen yet so could change.
Immaculate was good, but The First Omen did it better. Abigail was ok but Megan did it better, in the campy, fun way.

It really is a shame that Nosferatu turned out to be such a slog to sit through for me, because I find myself constantly thinking about the section that goes from Thomas standing at the crossroads to him leaving the castle. The atmosphere during that entire part is incredible. Hoult's acting out pure fear during that first sit-down encounter with Count Orlok was fantastic too. From then on, it's all... I was going to say downhill, but it's not even that. Just too self-indulgent and redundant, I guess.

Ooh looks promising. Hope they haven't put all the exciting bits in the trailer.

I have high hopes for this one, and the trailer couldn't look more promising. But as mentioned, I just hope this hasn't revealed too much.
Heart Eyes looks a lot better than I expected it to. I have a better idea of what it's meant to be based off that trailer. I don't know why I thought it was going to be a comedy.

Worst of the year for me were Time Cut, The Watchers and In A Violent Nature.
They were actually in the top 5 worst of the year (any genre) with Furiosa and the Bob Marley film.
Are they hardly marketing Wolf Man & Companion? Wouldn’t know they were both out this month. Unless they’re going the last minute secretive Barbarian route with the latter.

I am strange in that if I miss them in theaters, it takes me months-years to catch up and those two have yet to be seen!!
