Hyper Crush - General Discussion

  1. This group is often passed off as a joke, but their most recent album is actually incredible.

Night Wave was released February 7 of this year. They've already released five-ish singles off of it (the most exciting being Werk Me), but what's grabbed my attention is the new single, Bad Boyz.

  2. They do have some genuinely decent songs, but it's hard not to think of them as LMFAO with a cheap, orange tart because, well, she's a cheap, orange tart.
  3. Yeah, I don't know what it is about them that makes them bother me less than LMFAO, but for some reason I appreciate them so wholly.

    Too bad they're not Korean.
  5. You've got to give them credit though, they've essentially been making K-pop for years. I think I still have some shittily ripped mp3s of theirs from like, 2006.

But I do echo the sentiment, 3Xs. It'd make everything so much more palpable.

  6. I remember Candy Store was my jam for about a day, until a realised it sounded like a parody of a Black Eyed Peas song. And now it's just unlistenable.
  7. What was the good one called, Kick It Up or something?
  8. Kick Us Out?

There was already a thread on them when they released the first album

SEX AND DRUGS is the song of the century.

ps If they were Korean they would be shit.

It's so funny, I was gonna make a thread on them last week but decided to wait until the new video came out.

I LOVE Hyper Crush! I've been following them since like '06 when them and LMFAO had This Is My Life on their Myspace's and we're just getting started. I'm still bitter that they've worked with both LMFAO and Far East Movement before they blew up but HC still haven't had a breakthrough yet.

I'd say they're best tracks are Candy Store, Twisted, Mueve Low, Slow Motion, FUHATER, What Goes Up, Chead, Maniac, Bad Boyz, Werk Me and Chrome Pipes.

This song though, is a worldwide smash waiting to happen and it's severely overlooked:

They've got a new single and video coming out next Tuesday called 'Visions of Coleco.' Here's a teaser:
  12. They should join Cash Cash and form some supergroup that only produces second hand party anthems which totally work in the 'club environment' (I DJ both of the them at my parties all the time).
