I think her label has just fucked everything up. "Trouble" is finally a good one, but the fact that they never let her release solo stuff is totally killing her chances.. "Fuck Love" should have came after Fancy and now "Iggy SZN" should be the next one. Those are so damn catchy!

It was never even filmed. Two different dates were scheduled for shooting, but they just didn't happen. Some blamed it on poor sales, which is ridiculous. I still think it was LaChappel's fault. He just couldn't be arsed.

Missed opportunity not doing a medieval video for 'Heavy Crown' with Ellie and Iggy.
Everything after the release of 'Fancy' has been poorly planned and executed with the exception of her video concepts. I'm just ready for this chapter to close and move on. I don't get why they are trying to re-open it when it was basically slammed shut after the non-event that was 'Beg For It.'

I love the Trouble video, just perfect for the song! (although they could've used the US radio version which actually helps the quality of the track this time around unlike Black Widow)
True, it was a very weird release in terms of its "campaign"/marketing even if I still enjoyed the material we got out of it, and it was good for the new fans to get more music from her too.

The problem with Reclassified is that it completely filtered down the original album, doing it no justice, the only purpose being to add a couple of upbeat songs for single releases. Iggy and her team have made a rod for their own back by releasing the feature singles too, people aren't going to care much about the girl doing the chorus if the only part they remember from her songs is the hook. She would've done better to rerelease Change Your Life after Black Widow gave her another hit.

After Fancy she should've pushed "Work" as a radio single in the US, nabbed another Top 10 with it, and then hit the whole world hard with "100". "Beg For It", once it rolled around as a re-release lead single, would seem far fresher and less like a desperate attempt to recapture the magic.

I agree she could've done done a Work or CYL re-release in the US as those are still easily her best singles so far but oh well.
She's been working on her second album and mentioned focusing more on solo tracks in a recent interview so we'll see.

I love that she has been moaning to Power 106 about everybody hating her and how she didn't want to win that Grammy.
I caught a bit of Dreamgirls a few nights ago and the power in her voice! I couldn't believe it. And she didn't win American Idol? I couldn't believe it.

Jennifer didn't win American Idol, but considering how many contestants drift back into obscurity, you could say she came out the winner.
The mixtapes have much better material than most of The New Classic, unfortunately. Tracks like Slo, Demons, Pu$$y, Flash, and especially Down South are way more interesting, in my opinion.

So now after the reports of the tour being cancelled, which would not be shocking considering they thought she could actually fill arenas, the whole tour has been rescheduled.
