I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

I think Nigel and Jamie-Lynn are tacky castings, but I will say, another issue I have with the show is seemingly not getting away from the welfare impact it has on living creatures.

I believe the AUS version has recently said it won’t be involving animals and insects going forward. I know it’s so intrinsic to the UK version, but they need to really rethink it given where society is going.

Farage is responsible for the state of this country. If the Tory’s hadn’t been so useless and scared of maybe losing a couple of seats to UKIP then Brexit and all the fuck ups that have followed would never have happened. Why are these people getting mega pay checks and screen time? Same with Hancock last year , literally responsible for 250,000 people dead yet Karen will say he’s not a bad guy is he quite funny. Top bloke.

Britneys evil sister as well? Fuck off

I don’t know how reality show contracts work but I would’ve thought Jamie Lynn still had a few weeks left on the one for Dancing with the Stars — they usually bring everybody back on the last episode, or I assumed that they’d make you commit to being available for the entirety of the series assuming you didn’t get kicked off. Oh well!

I still cannot believe how awful she was at dancing.

I’ll probably watch the first episode and then ignore it for the rest of the series. Husbo and I just aren’t really feeling it this year with Nigel Farage being on it.

I’ll still vote for him and Jamie Binn to be doing all the trials though ddd

From what I've seen, completely ignoring/disregarding certain contestants seems to be the more effective course. No screen time or attention that they so obviously crave.

And give them all the screen time? How have people not realised with this show that if you dislike someone just edit them out by not voting or giving them screen time? The show has had the same, repetitive format for over 20 series?

Anyway the cast is typical desperate itv looking for as much attention for the first ep. Hopefully people soon work out how boring and stale the whole show is earlier this year and the ratings tank.

I really haven't paid attention to I'm A Celebrity since I was like in seventh or eighth grade when she used to be popular.

I think/hope Nigel will be removed within a few days for saying something problematic. ITV were happy to remove Trish from BB Late & Live because of past tweets but they’re happy to pay Farage £1.5m for his views?

Also, ITV is her main employer. Doing a rival show when you're being offered something by the people keeping you employed would be a bad move. This Morning is already undergoing changes. She needs to stay in ITV's good books.

It's so funny to me how Josie fell into obscurity after Big Brother for a decade and is now a beloved morning TV presenter and probably one of the more famous people on this line-up. Like at least with Alison she hustled on those competiton adverts/celeb interviews for years so there was a narrative but I swear Josie just came back out of nowhere one day.

Pretty sure Josie took over those sort of segments when Alison moved into an actual presenter role.

I just see Strictly as way more popular and mainstream, and would open new doors.

However, I assume the money is way better from ITV
