I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

Maura is such a phenomenal reality tv star. A total icon.
She's not the icon you think she is.

When Love Island contestant Lucie was called out for her microaggressions towards Yewande (couldn't pronounce her name and called her Y) and Maura sent Lucie flowers in support of her. Yikes.

I want Richard or Maura to win but it’s very obvious it will be Danny. Whose not really done much to be crowned king of the jungle.

Hopefully Dean goes out tonight, but also might be Melvin.

Was curious at Jane’s comments about showmanship and not pulling their weight. I assume that’s aimed at Dean but there must be others.

If someone was leaving tonight, surely they would have reopened the vote? I think the next person to leave will be on Sunday night - maybe a double?.

I really hope Dean goes. If Melvin at risk all my 5 votes will be going to him. Last time I split my votes between him, Maura & the Rev.

Yep Danny has got this in the bag. I'd prefer Maura or the Rev but its very unlikely a late arrival wins this show.

Jane is just very big headed she just saw herself as deserving more as she pulled her weight with the chores but to win this show you also need to show a fun side, have some kind of story arc or have a big outside fanbase (aka Danny).

Sad and slightly surprised to see Tulisa leave so soon.

Any of the girls or gay left to win now!

Danny should leave next please.

Hopefully it’s not Oti as it was between her and Tulisa… and so far the other person of the two have went next, maybe just a coincidence though.

Danny will win. Sadly no one else has a chance. I'd love to be wrong. Tulisa didn't really seem to do that much. The only time I thought she shined was when she was giving advice to the others when they were low. She seemed a bit grumpy about others singing, if she wanted to relaunch herself she should have joined in with the singing.

I would love a Rev Richard, Melvin or Maura win but I think Danny will win. He came in with the biggest fan group. ITV like their hetero white bread men. At least Big Brother had a decent winner this year.

This will be upsetting as I’m sure she must’ve looked at this opportunity as a career relaunch.

She still can, going early shouldn’t affect that? The cast is so stacked this year she’d have been an easy finalist any other series.

Tulisa did a couldn't-put-enough-tickets-on-sale N Dubz tour where she made millions barely a year ago, this was just a cute extra paycheck to her rather than any life or death career opportunity. The female boss is all good!

This is really unfair. I don't know what the intention was but why would you bring up something that someone said they are ashamed of and call the 'worst thing you ever done' as a reason to not support someone, especially on a forum of mostly LGBTQ+ folk who've felt this way about something or other in there own lives . He seems like a genuine, funny and open-mined guy.

Exactly. People make mistakes and hopefully learn from them. The issue with holding things against people is that it will eventually come back to bite you in the ass when you yourself make a mistake.

If he can lie about something like that, then you've not a leg to stand on in my eyes. It's great that he's shown remorse but to attach 'glamour' to HIV while hundreds of people were dying? That's not a 'mistake', that's disgusting.

It was a horrible thing to have done, but I do kind of see where he was coming from. There was this weird spotlight shone on people during that time who were HIV positive, especially when you had people like Diana, Madonna and Elizabeth Taylor out there spreading the word and trying to change people's views on "the gay disease" not to mention someone like Rock Hudson dying from it. The gay community had no real option but to come together and become tight and I dare say many people wanted that extra bit of attention and...closeness(?) that came form having the disease and others being there to support them. During that time period there was an air of mystery to it, even though so many people were suffering and dying. It's not right in any way, but it also sadly was something many people did, and still do to this day with other "diagnoses".

Obviously many of us did not live through that time period and we have vast amounts of research available to us, but Richard actually was there and mindsets were totally different, and there was far fewer means of spreading information.
