Yup! And Lela Rochon! I’m assuming playing Condola’s mom and sister?
I can already tell I'mma cry. Just like Pose, it was beautiful to see historical and modern stories of being Black on TV. Main characters, not slaves, tragedies, supporting names. Just Black and Latinx people being us. I'm gonna be devastated.
Great interview on the Breakfast Club this morning as well:
this is killling meeeeee
Issa’s lil monologue at the panel… it be like that
I was HOLLERING at
their friend robbing their asses
The writers minds.
Shazammed every song. Welcome back Insecure.
It was a nice surprise to get an episode with all the girls having fun together. I'm afraid that many tears will be shed this season.
If you have Spotify, this is the official playlist. They add the newest songs after the episode airs. Has everything all the way back to Season 1:
I know awards don't matter blah blah but I need Issa or anyone on the Insecure team to walk away with at least one Emmy next year. I feel like I've seen so much goodwill and love online over the past few days and I want them to be recognized on a bigger scale.
Young Issa in the mirror + the robbery scene had me screaming. A great episode overall and I can't wait to see where the season takes us.
WHAT AN EPISODEEEE
'BUT HEYYY ain't she changed bitch'
I don’t think it was ever mentioned. I was really caught off guard when that was revealed in the trailer. I’m still getting through my series rewatch, so I’ll update if I notice a mention I missed in the previous 4 seasons.
People are so strange fff
This is… a lot.
She’s been getting tons of messages about it. It’s so strange, given that she’s only the actor. It’s also such a tiny scene.
They're saying "ain't shit changed".
