The Swedish version of the song is "allting vill rinna ut i sand" and some of its lyrics appear at the end, so that’s what "sand" in the title for the KRONOLOGI version is a reference to.

The fact it doesn't skip is enough for the KRONOLOGI version to be the definitive one, but it's also just better overall.

Although they're small, the changes to the production have improved it so much - it has a fuller sound and the percussive bits being more prominent helps the song feel like it's progressing as you listen. I think some of the synths in the background are new as well, or might just be higher up in the mix.

The label replied to some comments on Instagram earlier, it seems the issue with the AI uploads is what's holding up distribution but they're "almost there" now. Hopefully they can just get the album as a whole online on December 24 if nothing else.

Did they reveal the release pattern of each new song as in often will we get a new one?

And completely agreed about this new version of KMFD. To me, it feels they settled on a "final" version of it with those tweaks for this release which is great.

I was a tad confused why this wasn't on Deezer etc but I had no problem throwing coins for the bandcamp version. So thanks for explaining that, too!

I saw someone on Instagram ask about what days the songs will be released and the label replied saying it depends on the real time process of ionnalee, so it doesn't sound like there's any pattern in mind unfortunately. Only that they will all be shared between now and December 24.

Just had an update through from Ochre, CLOSE YOUR EYES and BLUND CDs now expected to begin shipping in the week starting December 16. The vinyl towards the end of December / start of January.

According to Jonna's Instagram, it's originally from 2018 but was only partially recorded at the time and never considered for an album. She finished it now for KRONOLOGI 2.

Acidic rainbows is a demo version of luminary rainbows from CLOSE YOUR EYES according to Jonna’s Instagram story. Interesting to hear the progress from this to what it became.

I tend to ignore whether it’s tagged as “ionnalee” and/or “iamamiwhoami”. As much as I lover her/them, I still don’t understand which is which. I remember Claes helping her with her solo albums as well, so I don’t see the difference.

Anyway, I’m happy with the melody changes to the chorus of Luminary Rainbows, as the demo is a bit flat. Still really happy to hear where it all started! Looking forward to the next releases.
