She mentioned on Instagram that this was her intention (although the post has been removed now)*. Something about how she approaches all her projects with a theme, and for KRONOLOGI 2 it was seasonal. She wanted the songs to match the mood of the holidays even though it's not Christmas music.

I’ve been waiting for the whole album to be released before listening to any of it, so looking forward to diving in.

Why is ionnalee listed as the first artist on all tracks though? Each track varied on the first album as to which artist name was listed first.

It's been a point of confusion for a while to be honest!

There doesn't seem to be as much distinction between the two names anymore, and when she does/doesn't credit iamamiwhoami recently is also inconsistent.

For me it's bizarre seeing songs like keep me from dreaming, canion, justice for o and kill in basement tagging ionnalee as the only artist when they were all originally iamamiwhoami releases and Claes is still credited as a co-producer or co-writer on them all. But somewhere in the process I guess it makes sense to them.

Another photo from the making of BLUE - she seems to be pushing this #STILLBLUE hashtag a bit just recently. Makes me wonder if they're still planning to mark the anniversary in some way. She had mentioned vinyl re-issues some time last year.

Fuck, I've gotta go to the Elsewhere show. I need to scope out my friends for who would enjoy this.

To see this immaculate album on tour in 2025 would be a dream.


I wonder if STILL BLUE will be BLUE ISLAND + the new 2025 song?
