Can I ask what everyone hates about Womanizer beyond the single effect?
I can only speak for myself but while I find womanizer a good song, it's one that gets tiring to listen to after three plays. As I am fond of playing one song in loop, this is something super negative for me. Meanwhile, several tracks who were already eliminated have this loop factor and I can listen to them for weeks without getting tired meanwhile I just "love" Womanizer once a year.

I mean, it's still a good song (I gave it a 7 iirc) and I know there is the entire "Britney is truly back;!!1" moment attached to it, but it's on my lower half of Circus and shouldn't have outlasted way better songs like it did on this rate.

I know I've said this before, but I have to reiterate that The Singles Collection is such a useless greatest hits compilation. I get that it was meant to tie in with her first decade in the industry, but she had literally only released 8 singles since her previous greatest hits album, 3 of which weren't even hits (Someday, Break the Ice, and Radar).

A Circus re-release in 2009 would've made more sense, followed by Femme Fatale in 2011 as scheduled, and then The Singles Collection in 2013. At which point she would've picked up a few more hits, she could properly record her vocals for Work Bitch (or hopefully in this timeline, there'd be a better song), and most important of all, Britney Jean would not exist.

Yeah, The Singles Collection does fall at an odd point when she had literally just had a comeback. She also has that remastered essentials collection floating around, and it's like.. Does she really need this? If anything, Work Bitch + Greatest Hits should've been the move.

Crazy that fans would wish for an album to be removed because it's just that bad *sighs*

I understand they aren't for everyone, but for me songs like 3, Hold It Against Me, Work Bitch, Womanizer, If U Seek Amy...that's the kind of stuff I want to listen to if I want to listen to Britney Spears and I accept that I'm in the minority.

(I imagine those are the songs she'd cut from the setlist when she gets the chance.)

How I Roll is the 5th track from Britney's seventh album, Femme Fatale. It was written by Christian Karlsson, Henrik Jonback, Magnus Lidehäll, Pontus Winnberg, Bonnie McKee and Nicole Morier. It was produced by Jonback, Lidehäll and Bloodshy.

My thoughts: Quite frankly, this is BONKERS and I fucking love it. I have no clue what the song is about but the frantic production that often sounds like a malfunctioning computer is just so damn good. Also I'm always convinced she says "You can be my fuck tonight" but I think it's "thug". The handclaps and the hoo hah bits are my favourite.
@clowezra (8.5) Underrated bop.

@JMRGBY (7) This is a strange one for me because I always see it lauded as a masterpiece and I just…don’t hear it.

@boombazookajoe (10) I am obsessed with the genre of songss that I would call "slutty nursey rhymes." It's such a fun juxtoposition. (I would put Ciara's "Read My Lips" in the same category and, to a lesser extent, "Ice Cream" by BLACKPINK, for reference.) I LOVE Read My Lips!

@blaze_dave (8.5) Another fun and breezy pop song. I don't care what they say, the lyric is 'you can be my f**k tonight' and not 'thug tonight'. Haha I wrote my comment before I saw this but yes I agree!

@Kaz D'Oerba (9) It’s not the most conventional song she’s done, but it’s still fantastic.

@maikos87 (10) What a fucking great production this one has. YES!

@daninternational (4) Have a few points and that gif for the claps

@AstronautMikeDexter (9.5) Her bonkers songs are always so good and this is no exception.

@M24 (3.5) Apologies for my score because I know it's a fan favorite… I just don't vibe with it. It's my least favorite B&A production for Britney. That chorus goes nowhere. The lyrics are… interesting. Does she say "fuck" by the way?

@KingBruno (10) Absolutely bonkers production! So much better than all of the over-the-top EDM rackets on this album. This should've been more of an influence on the overall sound rather than loud EDM and dubstep tracks.

@Attis (9.5) Not her being quirky I-

@Guyhawke! (10) A head-scratching inclusion on first listen that soon revealed itself to be peak Weirdney. Bloodshy & Avant use a lighter touch here, giving us a wholesome rollerskating-in-‘kneesocks’ retro bop complete with handclaps and cheek-pops. The lyrics are ludicrous and I love every single one of them. Shimmy shimmy yo shimmy yo shimmy yay! The shimmy bit, another highlight!

@Milotic (8) I used to not really like this, but I've warmed up to it in recent years. It's quirky and fun. Not in my list of songs I normally reach for from this album, but if it comes on, I won't skip it.

@BreatheBox (9) billboard spilled with that article What article?

@Verandi (8.5) Poor Charli is still trying to make a song like this. *deactivates alerts from angry XCX stans*

Handing over to 11 giver @eatyourself to finish up:

@eatyourself (11) Quirkney is my favorite Britney and this is the best Quirkney song for me. So yeah - the career highlight. You just know Charli XCX had this as her ringtone back in 2011.
