Jack Harlow

This is the most viral moment Pitchfork's had in a moment isn't it?

His music suffers from being so perfunctory it's worse than being actively bad. That aligning with all of his less than flattering behavior that's taking off on social media is the perfect storm for a takedown.

Can someone please fill me in on the social media stuff he’s been doing that’s got people turning on him? I’m not on Twitter or Facebook so I wasn’t aware of any of it, but I’m curious!

I think it's honestly just that his music sucks...

Everyone who likes him seems to like him because he has a great sense of humor and an attractive personality. The music part is lacking, and his humor doesn't even translate into it for the most part. He went all self-serious. People are realizing the music is deeply mid, if that, and combining that with a little increase in cockiness... Recipe for disaster.

I mean most of the backlash stems from generally just being another mediocre white rapper getting huge by capitalizing off black culture.

But some moments that definitely fed the flames:

He filmed himself messing with an employee's camera during a live NBA game which got a lot of backlash for putting someone's job on the line for a few cheap laughs, especially when people found out she was a queer woman of colour dd. Sir the optics...

Now this video of black men carrying him around so he doesn't get his shoes dirty. Again the optics...

Also this little story he told of asking for Dua's blessing to release the song about her that was meant to sound cute but actually sounded like she wasn't into it. He didn't even try to embellish the story dd, like why tell on yourself like that? Then people compared it to the Kanye/Taylor incident.

And lastly this:

Thank you for taking the time to share all of this with me. Kinda makes me happy I’m no longer on socials because seeing this bakwaas behaviour would have irritated me to no end. He needs to go away.

he/him
I'd like him to be my husb. He's so fine, tall, easygoing (based on his interviews), haha.
The cuttest.

He gives me “Adam Brody knock off from wish.com” vibes and I can’t decide if that makes him attractive or not.

Musically I like his Lil Nas collab but nothing else is grabbing me.

I enjoyed this on first listen through, nothing remarkable but it has an easy listening quality to it. Is Side Piece about Dua as well ddd.
