Surely coming this year now.
I don’t want to have to wait until the last week of the year but I’ve thought about the possibility of announcing the album on her birthday (December 26th).
I do think being on the pre-new year playlists would be quite a good strategy for a buzz track but in all honesty, I have no idea how the industry operates during this time, maybe less competition from other releases could be good?
Or do people still just play Xmas songs until the new year? (I certainly don't)
A pop justice indeed. The Christmas songs kind of die off right away.
Usually, any non Christmas songs that have managed to stay charting high during the Christmas period are the ones with a chance of being the first #1 of the new year.
I always remember Sweet Melody managing to hover in the Top 10 throughout Christmas and then going straight to Number 1 the first week of January.
She’s said in an interview to 103.5 KTU that she might change the album title influenced by the fans. Keep posting.
That's Showbiz Baby > Silent Disco > It Girl.
She’s mentioned a couple times how she thought of changing TSB’s (the track) title to It Girl. Let’s hope she didn’t do it for the album instead. I find It Girl a bit tacky as an album title.

Oh she reads here for sure.
With all the discussion it's been causing, it'd be a scream if she ended up naming the album something ultra-generic/uninspired like Rebirth or I Am.
It could also be December 10th? Maybe Friday wouldn’t matter with a promo single
But couldn’t it be cut off?The date shown on the image is 10-1, so 1-10 (January 10) for Americans.
