The way my excitement for this album cratered after reading this. I thought everything was pretty much set in stone, but I guess we'll get... whatever it is we end up getting, whenever it is we end up getting it... which probably won't actually be anytime soon.

I've never been a Little Mix stan, only like a few of their songs but I'm onboard with Jade with everything she has been doing so far. I will be buying the album.

Yep, I'm all for artists not listening so much to their fans and following their gut instinct. Especially someone like JADE who just seems to in tune with pop culture and the kind of artist she wants to be.
Every fan will naturally want to be an A&R but at some point you need to block out the noise.

I guess it's finding the balance as ultimately fans are the ones buying the content. Ariana recently said that fan criticising Positions affected her own opinion of it too, and she cancelled things that she had planned for it. Whereas now it seems she's less bothered about what her fans want and follows her own gut/heart more.

I mean I DO think Silent Disco is a bad album title, but ultimately she needs to do what she wants and not give in to too much fan service.

Silent Disco is one of the worst album titles I’ve heard in a very long time, however I’d take an album called Silent Disco with a solid release timeline in the near future against a better title and the release date…or release in general, being up in air

That's Showbiz Baby (especially next to the singles) is a really strong concept for a debut specifically. If fan service is leading to an idea she’s excited about, I’m not mad at the influence.

It's not like she decided to name it "Jade" and she is going around saying "this is my most personal album yet, that's why I decided to named it with my name".
