I don’t know how to feel about people sharing their opinions on what tracks are best and what they like/don’t like.

This has obviously leaked in a way which isn’t widely available. Should we be discussing the merits of songs where they might not be the final versions?

We do this all the time.

A quality rollout would have been having FUFN coming in the pipeline around the time Midnight Cowboy was out with the album preorder, I reckon.

We’re all doom and gloom about leaks but, in reality, how much does it affect an artist these days? She’s still “new” as a solo act and it’s not like those who seek out the leaks won’t buy it (and let’s not kid ourselves, those who don’t buy it weren’t going to buy the record anyways) so things can turn up.

At the end of the day, she will be fine. I’m repeating myself here, but the material is great and she has the vision. I can’t remember an example of a pop girl having a peaceful debut era. Dua’s debut was delayed many times for example.

I don't know what more we want. It's been a lengthy time, but we got two great music videos (a third incoming), promo singles in between all equipped with visualizers, performances, all wrapped in a concept.

I'd still say we've gotten a quality rollout. Nobody would argue about it, if Fantasy had been a hit... The rollout might be stretched out at this point for some of you, but quality has been the least problem so far.

I'd still say we've gotten a quality rollout. Nobody would argue about it, if Fantasy had been a hit... The rollout might be stretched out at this point for some of you, but quality has been the least problem so far.

Also hope she doesn’t remove any of the great songs on this just because it leaked.

I can see that. I do think she will get an album out (unlike Leigh and Perrie) soon, but who knows if it’ll be this version (which I assume is closer to her vision) or not.

I have just realised that she said on her Tik Tok live the other day that the last song on the album was a song that had kind of leaked.

So I am guessing that the order the tracks leaked in is the correct sequencing as Silent Disco has the same chorus melody as that Self Saboteur song (“a silent disco with me” vs “you’re bringing heaven to me”).

She said previously it was being sent in at the end of last year. That was before she came out and said she also changed the title, but we also don’t know when she made that choice and if it was before she submitted, sooo hard to say. I’m wondering if these were obtained the same way Tate’s album got leaked, though, because from what I recall that was all the files that were submitted for vinyl manufacturing and it came with the original artwork and everything.

Also from what I’m reading, this was the scrapped version of the album and most of it has been reworked? If that’s the case—great. The leak still sucks since she did say she planned on putting these songs out eventually, but hopefully it gives the label the kick in the ass they need to nail down a pre-order and release date.
