It’s a cute little bop. I don’t hear the “massive” claims that lots are making. I would love to be proven wrong though and for it to absolutely smash as she’s so charming, passionate, and talented that she really does deserve it.

I think maybe part of the issue is that the Fendi ad has been out for so long it feels like it’s been teased for an eternity. I do get the reasons for delaying the release though (so both The Brits performance of Angel and FUFN each had their own chance to shine).

Hopefully the video really sells the song and injects some new life into it for me.
