I’m still holding out hope for an announcement this Friday. That capital letters SECOND on the TikTok she posted the other day was very random.

An early May announce with a lead-in for release around Glastonbury is the only sensible option I can picture right now that makes some sort of sense. She's just not going to get anything else that size in terms of promo or gigs this summer so it makes sense to loop it around that.

She ghosted when she realized it’s officially been past five weeks since her “2–5 weeks” statement.

This would be the biggest mistake they've made so far in my books. It's top 2 (behind Angel). I actually think her leaning in to more of that Tinashe-esk sound works really well for her. That shines through in the leaks as well in Glitch.

FUFN (FOR THE CLUB) really elevates the original version, to the point where I wish it had been released as the main mix. It’s just so propulsive, and that harder edge to the production really lends the song a bitter bite.

The campaign might be in absolute shambles, but you can’t deny that JADE has brought the goods with the six songs she’s released thus far. She’s an incredible pop star.
